(Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg) is proud to announce its merger with corporate finance boutique <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aenfpartners.nl\/en\/\">AenF<\/a> (Acquisition and Finance) Partners B.V. This promises significant benefits for existing and prospective clients, given the businesses\u2019 complementary buy- and sell-side specialisations. The merger will also bolster Translink\u2019s footprint across Benelux, adding to the deep global partnerships and expertise evidenced across the growing Translink Corporate Finance group, covering more than 35 countries.<\/p>\n<p>Maurits Hesseling, Managing Partner van Translink Benelux, zegt: &#8220;Vorig jaar heeft de Translink-groep een strategisch doel gesteld, namelijk om uit te groeien tot de top 10 binnen de internationale M&#038;A mid-market wereldwijd. Het versterken van onze aanwezigheid in Nederland word gedefinieerd als onderdeel van deze missie, dus gingen we op zoek naar een partner met vergelijkbare internationale groeidoelstellingen en synergie\u00ebn. Die overlap in cultuur maakte de fusie een logische stap.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Complementary strengths<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Boissevain says that almost 80% of AenF\u2019s deals are currently on the sell-side, making the cross-border opportunities the merger brings extremely beneficial for the company\u2019s clients seeking to go abroad. Cross-border dealmaking is now a major strength for the \u2018new\u2019 Translink Benelux office.<\/p>\n<p>Het voordeel van een wereldwijde groep van experts in alle belangrijke M&#038;A-sectoren kan niet genoeg worden benadrukt. AenF Partners is similarly sector agnostic with strong expertise across the spectrum.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A strong, positive outlook for 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kuipers zegt dat het team tal van transacties in de pijplijn heeft die dit jaar zullen worden afgerond. Hij verwacht ook dat de rente zal dalen, wat zal leiden tot meer M&#038;A-activiteit over het gehele spectrum. Translink Benelux sloot vorig jaar vier deals in een uitdagende markt, terwijl AenF Partners ongeveer 30 deals sloot. Samen zijn de vooruitzichten voor 2024 groot.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of trends, Kuipers sees cross-border deals continuing to be a megatrend for 2024. \u201cThe world is getting more international every day, and so are our clients. Increasingly, they are looking to start or buy a company abroad to diversify their risk and grow their footprint.
